Reminder: when you sign up for the reading club, you will also have the chance to plant a seed! Come one, come all, to fill the library with beautiful plants!
Do you have a green thumb? Over the next two weeks, we are offering the following activities on the theme PLANT IT:
Drop-in activities :
· Monday, June 30: Discovery Activity (ages 7 to 12): 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
· Thursday, July 3: Books & Babies (ages 0 to 2) : 9:30 to 10:00 am.
· Thursday, July 3: Build’n’Read (ages 2 to 3): 10:30 to 11:15 am.
· Thursday, July 3: Outdoor Library (for all) at Windermere Park at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
· Friday, July 4: Crafty Fridays (ages 3 to 17) : between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm (the craft will take about 30 minutes).
Activities requiring registration (library card and $2 reservation fee required):
· Wednesday, July 2: My Own Garden (ages 3 to 6): 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
· Wednesday, July 2: Build’n’Read, evening edition (ages 3 to 6): 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
· Thursday, July 3: Birds and Bugs (ages 7 to 12): 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
Come see us at our kiosk on Canada Day at Centennial Park. A fun game will be available and you can also register for the Summer Reading Club.
